Mission Statement – Dolce Golden Retrievers

At Dolce Golden Retrievers, our mission is rooted in a lifelong love for this extraordinary breed. My journey began at 17 years old, during a difficult time in my life, when my mother allowed me to bring home my first Golden Retriever, Sage. She was nine months old, given to us by our family dentist—and she became, without question, the best dog I have ever known. Sage was my companion, my comfort, and my heart. When we lost her to cancer in 1990, it left a lasting imprint on my life.

About a year later, we attended a local dog show, where we connected with dedicated breeders and brought home another Golden—marking the beginning of decades of showing, breeding champions, and a deep, enduring passion for the breed that my husband and I continue to share today.

As hobby breeders, we are deeply committed to preserving the health, temperament, and integrity of the Golden Retriever. We intentionally raise only one—occasionally two—litters per year, allowing us to provide each puppy with exceptional care, early socialization, and a strong foundation for life.

We believe breeding is not just about producing puppies—it is about honoring a legacy. Every Dolce Golden Retriever is raised with love and thoughtfully placed with families who will cherish them as deeply as we do.
